TESTAMENT firma con Nuclear Blast

TESTAMENT firma con Nuclear Blast:


Al sello alemán independiente Nuclear Blast Records, se fue la banda de California de TESTAMENT, luego que a principios de año rompiera relaciones con la compañía Spitfire. Así, el próximo disco del conjunto saldrá en marzo del 2008, de acuerdo a lo anunciado. En este trabajo se escuchará la misma fórmación que visitó Chile hace un par de meses, es decir, con Alex Skolnick (guitarra), Chuck Billy (voces), Greg Christian (bajo) y Eric Peterson (guitarra), junto con el baterista Nick Barker.

RATZINGER se va de gira a Europa

En la primera quincena de agosto, el grupo chileno RATZINGER se embarcará por una pequeña gira europea la cual los llevará a tocar a Alemania, Polonia y Suecia. Las fechas exactas de este tour al viejo continente son las que se detallan a continuación.

Pero antes, RATZINGER, que acaba de lanzar su disco "State Enemy" al mercado nacional e internacional, realizará unos shows en Valparaíso el 14 de julio en El Huevo, otro en Santiago al día siguiente en Bar Oxido, y el 28 del mismo mes en el Breaking Bar de Concepción.

SODOM: "The Final Sign Of Evil"

El 28 de septiembre será la fecha en que saldrá la nueva producción de los thrasheros alemanes de SODOM, que llevará por título "The Final Sign of Evil" y contendrá nuevas versiones de todas las canciones del clásico EP debut del conjunto, "In The Sign Of Evil", además de otras siete que fueron escritas en esa época, durante 1984, que no alcanzaron a registrarse y que hasta ahora, no han sido lanzadas de manera oficial.

De acuerdo al productor del trabajo, Toto, el propósito fue "lograr que "In The Sign Of Evil" fuera un álbum completo, por lo que los siete bonus tracks no son bonus propiamente tal, sino que completan el disco como debió haberse hecho en 1984".

La placa contará con el regreso del baterista original de SODOM, Chris "Witchhunter" Dudek, y el guitarrista Josef "Peppi" Dominic, más recordado como Grave Violator, quienes estuvieron en la grabación del legendario EP del '84.
